Book a consultation

What to expect

A straightforward and supportive approach from initial consultation through to recovery.

Initial Assessment

Your first consultation is an opportunity to discuss your symptoms, medical history, medications and any concerns you may have.

It will take between 15-30 minutes.

Mr Hamouda will take time to understand your condition and advise on the most appropriate next steps based on your individual circumstances.

Tests and Investigations

Further investigations may sometimes be recommended following consultation. These can include scans, blood tests, endoscopy or specialist reflux investigations depending on your symptoms and condition.

Investigations can usually be arranged through your chosen private hospital location.

Treatment Planning

Once investigations have been completed, a personalised treatment plan will be discussed with you. This may include conservative treatment, lifestyle advice or surgery depending on your diagnosis and preferences.

The aim is always to ensure patients feel informed, reassured and confident in their treatment decisions.

Surgery Day

Many procedures are performed using minimally invasive keyhole techniques and are planned as day case surgery where possible.

You will receive clear instructions before surgery regarding fasting, medications, arrival times and recovery expectations.

Recovery and Follow up

Recovery times vary depending on the procedure performed, although patients are encouraged to gradually return to normal daily activities over the following weeks.

Follow-up appointments are arranged to monitor recovery, answer questions and provide ongoing support where needed.

You will be supported every step of the way.
